Kanchi Silk Jacket

A heavy silk kanchivaram saree was given to us by a friend. As soon as we saw it we knew we had to make something of long lasting value with it. The fabric was strong, soft and of a color that is very rare to find now. An onion pink with a gold black border, the saree was traditional in every sense of the word. Our designer had a vision of a formal jacket with the black/gold border on the sleeves. We lined it with a high quality satin fabric and added a narrow collar. The result was stunning! Of course we have only one piece!
