Cream Open Jacket

A gorgeous shawl handmade in the hills of Assam, India was not being used  by the owner. They brought it us with the tags still on. We instantly knew what to make with it. The feel of the fabric and the woven pattern on the shawl were perfect for a jacket. We decided to make it an open jacket so you could wear a black top under the shrug to provide a contrast.  Soft cotton lining makes this comfortable on the skin. The tassels at the bottom add an unexpected embellishment.
